Bluray quality is excellent.
This is a review for the Bluray disk. For anyone who loved any of these movies, the quality of the transfer is almost perfect. You have an occasional scene that is not that great but even the original film look crappy at that same point. So worth it. I mly really wanted Goonies and Gremlins 1, think of part 2 as a bonus. My son liked 2 better so glad I got this 3 movie set.

Three great classic movies, the reason for writing this brief review is that I don't understand the Jan 2013 release date?
This is selling in my local Wal-Mart for $10
Do yourself a favor, grab a bargain for Christmas.
Gremlins missing beginning
This is a good price for three classic movies in Blu-Ray, but be warned: the entire beginning sequence from Gremlins where the Dad buys Gizmo from the old man's shop in Chinatown is completely missing. Luckily we had a DVD copy so we could go back and watch the opening sequence, because my daughter was seeing it for the first time and that first part sets up the rest of the movie and the Dad's parting comments at the end of the movie make a lot less sense. Haven't watched either of the other two yet, so I can't comment on those. I'll write an update after we watch the other two.
